What is Residential Habilitation?

Direct services to meet regulatory requirements and contract conditions provided in licensed community homes to assist individuals in acquiring, retaining, and improving self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills.

“A building or separate dwelling unit in which residential care is provided to one of more individuals with an intellectual disability or autism.”

A residential service must be approved through a consolidated waiver funding source to be eligible.
